I’m exited to be returning to Connect Marketplace this year to see old friends, make new ones and to present educational programs that enhance your ability to create, innovate and communicate.

In my Every Day Team Building session, attendees learn that teambuilding is not just a game employees are forced to play once a year with their company. Real teambuilding takes place every day and encompasses skills vital to leadership and personal development. In this fun session, we share teambuilding activities and learn how to carry the lessons forward into everday life—both at work and home. I’m unveiling some new techniques like, “Car Talk and Teambuilding” and “Be a Teambuilding Superhero.”

Harnessing Your Creative Power was popular at last year’s Marketplace and I’m thrilled to be presenting this session again. Did you know that 98 percent of 4-year-old children consider themselves to be creative? Do you consider yourself to be creative? If you don’t, then this session is for you: get help tapping into your inner 4-year-old and rekindling your creative potential. I’ll leave you with step-by-step takeaways and a realistic plan to use your innate creativity to solve problems and create better events. By the way, I’ll have my piano on hand, and, who knows, we may create some music together. No experience required.

Teamwork And Tunework is kind of hush-hush. Suffice it to say, hundreds of Connect attendees will be networking on a grand scale and I guarantee lots of laughter! This large group event will sow the seeds for great networking and new connections for the rest of the Marketplace weekend. You might even end up online or in a video. This wonderful icebreaker should help you establish new relationships and experience firsthand how teambuilding can be used at your meetings and events. I’m looking forward to being able to create, innovate and engage with all of you in Chicago.
