Beaches of South Walton

Northwest Florida has no shortage of gorgeous beaches, condominiums, surf shops, and seafood restaurants. But if you’re looking for character, you can find it in the 15 towns that comprise Beaches of South Walton. Quaint, colorful neighborhoods, each with its own personality, line Highway 30A. Whether a group seeks exclusivity or laid-back cool, it can find a host. Small groups can look to the eclectic neighborhoods for options that range from Alys Beach, a glamorous, eco-friendly community with a pool deck suitable for a Hollywood soiree, to WaterColor Inn and Resort, which intertwines its upscale atmosphere, creative theme, and love for its surrounding preserved woodlands and beach into its accommodations and 4,000 square feet of meeting space. For larger events, the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa has 600 guest rooms and 32,000 square feet of meeting space. The 2,400-acre Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, which offers most any resort accommodation, has 65,000 square feet of meeting space and the Village of Baytowne Wharf, a retail and restaurant development.
