Bakersfield convention hotel
Tuesday, Feb 2The Padre Hotel in Bakersfield, Calif., opened February 1, after two years and $18-million in renovations. The 112-room property features meeting spaces accommodating 10-100 individuals and reception areas for up to 200 individuals.
“The Padre Hotel is an innovative and distinguishing asset to the Bakersfield hotel landscape,” says Don Cohen, Bakersfield Convention and Visitors Bureau manager. “The unique combination of venues under one roof will provide visitors to Bakersfield with an unforgettable experience and many reasons to return.”
The property sits eight blocks from the Rabobank Arena, Theater and Convention Center and is positioned just one block from the historic Fox Theater and the downtown arts district.
“The hotel staff is ready and willing to work with groups of all sizes which seek luxury accommodations and value,” says Cohen. “The CVB is anxious to see the reaction of meeting planners when they are made aware of the property.”
