Tallahassee unveils new meeting space

Four new meeting facilities are scheduled to open in Florida’s capital city in 2010, adding to Tallahassee’s existing inventory of 398, 000 square feet of meeting space and more than 6,500 hotel rooms. The FSU Conference Center is a 47,000-sq.-ft. facility featuring a 400-seat auditorium with a 320-seat auditorium dining room. Mission San Luis is a $7.6 million, 24,000-sq.-ft. visitors center, which can accommodate 200 guests. Aloft Tallahassee Downtown is a 162-room hotel featuring 2,249 square feet of meeting space, signature beds and oversized spa showers. Hotel Duval has more than 7,500 square feet of function space in addition to its 117 rooms.
