Call for nominations

Online nominations for MPI’s Recognizing Industry Success and Excellence (RISE) Awards are being accepted until Dec. 15, 2009. You do not have to be a member of Meeting Professionals International to submit a nomination.

Nominees should be individuals and communities that have made a significant contribution to the meetings and events industry through influence, innovation and global reach. MPI is accepting nominations for six awards within the RISE Awards program. Individual awards include the Young Professional Achievement, Meeting Industry Leadership and Member of the Year (MPI members only). MPI chapters and communities can be nominated for awards in Community Achievement in Knowledge and Ideas, Community Achievement in Marketplace Excellence and Community-Emerging Excellence.

Completed applications and all documentation must be received by December 15. The full awards program will be presented in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, at MPI’s World Education Conference in 2010.
