Hyatt Regency O’Hare gets a facelift
The Hyatt Regency O’Hare announced the completion of $64 million in renovations May 13, 2009. The Chicago hotel now features 1,100 newly renovated guest rooms, including 41 suites, and meeting space totaling 110,000 square feet.
“This transformation has allowed us to evolve into more than a Chicago airport hotel,” says David Jacobs, general manager of the venue. “Hyatt Regency O’Hare is now viewed on many levels; an unparalleled meeting and convention destination, a refuge for our loyal business travelers, and a hip and contemporary hot spot for dining or lounging.”
The re-design is believed to bring a warmer, personalized ambience to the hotel’s lofty atrium-style architecture, and create an ideal environment for lingering, lounging and lunching.
